Point of Hope is always working on new ideas to provide better services for our consumers.
During our initial interview process, we ask our potential clients, “What would YOU like to do while you’re here?” Then, we help them integrate their own ideas into their daily activities.

Point of Hope’s ABI Clubhouse welcomes $tand by Me Delaware
On Wednesday, December 4, 2013, members of the ABI Clubhouse welcomed Jude and Irma of $tand by Me Delaware, who presented a quick seminar on their free financial counseling services. $tand by Me®, Delaware Financial Empowerment Partnership was spearheaded by a coalition between the State of Delaware and United Way of Delaware, and is supported by numerous community partners. After the seminar, many of our ABI consumers opted to speak one-on-one with a financial counselor on site here at Point of Hope. Thanks, Jude and Irma!
Thank you!
We would like to thank Angela of Ocean Pines, Maryland, who recently donated three huge boxes of Legos to our program. Our ABI folks took the initiative to sort through this enormous collection!
We would like to thank the people who generously donated items to our program during the past few months. Special thanks to Ebenezer United Methodist Church for putting an announcement in their bulletin!
And we mustn’t forget TOILET PAPER ROLLS! Thank you to everybody who collected toilet paper rolls for our toilet paper roll art projects at Point of Hope! Wow, we got bags and bags of them from everyone under the sun! Here are some great pics of the crafts we worked on – and are still working on – including a family tree (which is in progress.)
